Do you want a change in career? Why not try Sales and Marketing? It is one of the in demand jobs because of unlimited income potential and career growth

There is no specific educational background needed for this kind of job although a degree in Marketing would be an advantage. The need of the company may also vary to be in line with the products being marketed. Like for medicine, they would probably prefer a graduate in health sciences.

Even without sales experience you can try out this career as some companies offer training programs. You just have the passion and drive to sell. You must know how to communicate well and can work in a team or by yourself.

You must also enjoy traveling as most of the time it will be field work.

When you have a good sales record, you have a chance for promotion and career growth.

With hard work and determination you can become a supervisor or maybe a sales manager wherein you can share your knowledge and techniques in Sales to those who want to try out this career.

unemploymentCurrent estimates places the unemployment rate at around 25% which is a very high number that usually hovers only at single digits. Many people lost jobs as the economic recession set in, taking away previously stable jobs overnight. People who have managed to get ample salary insurance are even finding out the hard way that that is no sure way to bridge the cash gap presented by unemployment, normally running out before they find a new job. The statistics are mere numbers for on the normally busy streets of major city centers are less and less traffic. People are retuning to their home towns in hopes of getting menial jobs and to save on rent, just hope the recession ends soon and the government can find a swift solution to a pressing problem of such magnitude as this. Just keep looking and you may find jobs, but don’t expect high paying ones for everybody’s tightening their belts.
